The arts can play an important role in the economic vitality of the region, even if you personally
never attend an arts event. Not only do strong arts events attract wide audiences – bringing dollars
into the city – they also play a part in making our community a more desirable place to live. That
makes it easier for local businesses to attract employees to the region, ensuring those businesses
remain a part of the community and that the community itself remains a good place to live, work
and play.
